An Institution

APD_varsity[2009]

This is the Varsity. This particular location, on North Avenue in Midtown, is home to the World's Largest Drive-in. The Varsity's specialty is hot dogs. The midtown location and the Athens location are both insanely busy on Georgia Tech and Univ. of Georgia game days. Generally, you'll find as many local folks eating here as you will tourists.

I knew when I saw the title that it would be the Varsity! We used to visit the Athens location mostly since we lived closer to that one. If you go to my blog, look at my husbands jacket ;) You'll probably recognize it!

My boys always got a naked dog, I love the chili dogs and a frosted orange, yum!
