Callanwolde

This is the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. The house was the home for the Candler family, specifically the son of Asa Candler. Asa Candler was the founder of the Coca-Cola Company. The estate was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted who also designed Central Park in New York City. The home was designed by Designed by Henry Hornbostel. The center holds classes, performances and exhibitions throughout the year.

What a beautiful home - I'm glad it's found a second life as an arts center. What a wonderful way to give back to the community.
