This bridge is located on the Emory University campus. The day I visited was rainy off and on throughout the day. When I headed back to my car, I cam across this large puddle, reflecting the trees and the sky.
This is an ostrakon made of white limestone. These were used by artists for sketches and layouts for decorations within Egyptian tombs. This is a depiction of Osiris, believed to be a draft of a representation that decorated the tomb of Ramesses IV. (So sayeth the information plaque.)
This is the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. The house was the home for the Candler family, specifically the son of Asa Candler. Asa Candler was the founder of the Coca-Cola Company. The estate was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted who also designed Central Park in New York City. The home was designed by Designed by Henry Hornbostel. The center holds classes, performances and exhibitions throughout the year.

I recently explored Emory University's Michael C. Carlos Museum. The museum has large collections Classical, Ancient Egyptian, Near Eastern, Ancient American, African, and Asian art. They also have a large collection of works on paper.
This piece is a portion of a carved Roman relief. I loved the little carved flower.
This hanging piece of art was displayed inside the rain forest exhibit at the Atlanta Botanical Garden during the "Sculpture in Motion" exhibition this past year.
This peacock is one of several sculptures outside the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Temple. Just like every other piece carved at the temple, the detail is amazing.
I spotted these clouds walking around Midtown last weekend. I loved the reflection of the clear blue sky, along with the pretty clouds.
This is a light fixture hanging in Atlanta's Vortex Bar & Grill. The Vortex is a really good burger joint in Midtown, with another location in Little Five Points. It's a bit rough on the edges (i.e. closer to a dive bar), but the food is great and the atmosphere is lots of fun!
